	課程內容:	This course is offered for those who are interested in understanding the design and implementation of database systems/applications for achieving the goal of building a customized computer-aided manufacturing systems and/or intelligent industrial automation and control systems. The main objective of this course is to study the fundamental concepts necessary for designing, using, and implementing database systems. In addition, students in this course also learn system implementation techniques, and will implement a system prototype in the end of the semester.

普及運算與製造應用

	普及運算與製造應用 Pervasive Computing and its Manufacturing Application

	課程內容:	「普及運算與製造應用」的目標在讓學生了解如何達到隨時與隨地運算目標。具體的內涵有三方面，分別是無線網路技術、行動計算、與雲端技術。本課程將從此三個領域提供整體的認識，並且提供其在製造業與資訊業上的應用。

大型及開源軟體開發

	大型及開源軟體開發 Software Development for Large and Open Source Projects

	學分數:	3學分

	課程內容:	介紹開源程式軟體開發相關知識。學生將學習到開源程式開發精神，以及多人共同開發大型軟體所需之程式技能。學生也將在這個課程中學習到如何安排專案時程，分析了解客戶及使用者需求，以及分析專案風險。

空間資料分析專論

	空間資料分析專論 Advanced Topics on Data Engineering for Spatial Data

	學分數:	3學分

	課程內容:	探討空間資料分析技術基礎架構與最新研究主題。本課程將廣泛探討現存R-Tree based的空間索引方式，空間資料如何在道路網路環境中儲存，以及空間移動物件軌跡資料分析方法。透過建置不同種類索引技術，並實作各式空間資料分析、資料探勘演算法，讓學生了解空間資料分析相關的研究議題。
